In Memoriam: Dr. Milo P. Johnson
Dr. Milo P. Johnson, a member of the Riverside
County Board of Education since 1984,
passed away December 25. He was 90.
Dr. Johnson was the founding president of Mt. San Jacinto and Imperial Valley Community Colleges. He won election to a sixth term on the Riverside County Board of Education last June.
Dr. Johnson built his life around dedication to causes and organizations and a dedicated commitment to service.
RCOE created the annual Milo P. Johnson Award of Distinction in 1999 to recognize employees who exhibit similar dedication and service.
