Leadership Institute of Riverside County | Dr. Linda Callaway discusses Balanced Leadership
 Dr. Linda Callaway, Superintendent of the Menifee Union School District, speaks about the Balanced Leadership Program. Dr. Callaway describes the use of Balanced Leadership to create a district-level Professional Learning Community in Menifee, and in turn, the site administrators' use of the skills learned in the program to create PLCs at their sites. Using Balanced Leadership, Dr. Callaway acted as the Learning Leader in her district, enrolling her entire team of site administrators, and fully participating with them, in Year 1 and Year 2 of this program.
Balanced Leadership, developed by Mid-Continent Research for Education and Learning, is based on McREL's research around effective leadership at the site level. RCOE - through the ELS Division - is a McREL-certified training LEA for Balanced Leadership.
