Leadership Institute of Riverside County | Aspiring Administrators Academy
The Aspiring Administrators Academy is a one year program designed to provide prospective school principals with practical “on-the-job” training within a framework of effective school leadership.
Sessions topics include:
Curriculum, instruction and assessment
Child welfare and attendance
Personnel leadership
Special education
State and federal programs
School activities and community involvement
At each session participants receive guidance from educators in the field and then apply their knowledge via fieldwork within their own district. It is anticipated that 50 prospective principals will be supported by this program annually.
